Privacy Policy
Plain English on what Free IPTV stores about you, why we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.
Free IPTV ("we", "us", "our") runs freeiptv.cam and the IPTV subscription service connected to it. We're the data controller for everything you'll read below. This page lays out, in plain English, what we collect, why we have it, who else sees it, and the rights you've got over it. If anything here isn't clear, ping our contact page and someone on the Free IPTV privacy team will get back to you.
1. Who We Are
Free IPTV is an IPTV subscription service streaming 10,000+ live channels to subscribers around the world. For privacy questions, the fastest route is our contact page. You can also message us on WhatsApp and we'll route it to the privacy team.
2. Information We Collect
What you give us directly
- Email address — we need this to set up your account and email you your login details.
- Payment details — handled by Stripe, PayPal, or our crypto processor. We never see or store your full card number — only a token tied to the transaction.
- Name — optional. It's only used if you've written in to support and we're replying to you.
- Support conversations — anything you send us by email, WhatsApp, or the contact form, plus our reply.
What we pick up automatically
- IP address — used briefly for fraud checks and to show the right pricing for your country. We don't keep it long-term.
- Browser and device — collected through cookies so the site loads properly on your setup.
- Pages you view and time on site — captured via analytics cookies. Details are in our Cookies Policy.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To open and run your Free IPTV subscription account.
- To send your login credentials, service notices, and renewal reminders.
- To take payment securely and issue receipts.
- To answer your support messages.
- To keep freeiptv.cam fast, stable, and free of fraud.
- To meet any legal duties we owe to regulators or tax authorities.
We don't sell your personal data. Full stop. We also don't run automated profiling that makes legal decisions about you — a human handles anything that matters.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you live in the EU, UK or EEA, here's why we're allowed to hold each piece of your data:
- Performing our contract — your email and account data are needed to deliver the service you paid for.
- Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, security logs, and basic product improvement.
- Your consent — analytics and marketing cookies only fire after you agree. You can pull that consent any time.
- Legal obligation — kept where tax, accounting, or law-enforcement rules require it.
5. Sharing With Third Parties
We share data with a small number of processors who help us run the service. They're contractually locked into using your data only for the job we hired them for:
- Supabase — hosts our subscriber database (account email, plan, support history).
- Stripe — processes card and PayPal payments.
- Vercel — hosts freeiptv.cam and serves the pages you're reading.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to chat with our support team there.
- Law enforcement — only when we're legally compelled by a valid order.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your data with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Cookies
We set a small number of cookies on freeiptv.cam — some essential, some for analytics, none for ad targeting. You'll see a consent banner the first time you visit if you're in the EU, UK or Switzerland. Full breakdown lives in our Cookies Policy.
7. Data Retention
We hold your account email for as long as you're a subscriber, plus 90 days after you cancel — that buffer lets us reactivate you if you change your mind. Payment records stick around for around 7 years because tax law says they have to. Support tickets are archived for 2 years and then deleted. Ask us to wipe your data sooner and we will, except where a law forces us to keep it.
8. Your Rights — GDPR (EU / UK / EEA)
If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you've got these rights:
- Access — ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Rectification — get inaccurate data fixed.
- Erasure — be forgotten (your "right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — tell us to pause processing while we sort something out.
- Portability — receive your data in a portable, machine-readable file.
- Object — push back against processing we do under legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — for anything cookie-based, you can change your mind at any time.
To use any of these, hit our contact page. We'll respond inside 30 days, usually quicker.
9. Your Rights — CCPA (California)
California residents have a similar set of rights under the CCPA / CPRA:
- Know what we collect, where it came from, and why we have it.
- Request deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request portability — a copy of your data.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. (We don't sell or share for cross-context advertising — but you can confirm that in writing any time.)
- Not be punished for using any of the above rights.
File a CCPA request through our contact page and we'll verify your identity before acting on it.
10. International Transfers
Free IPTV operates globally, which means your data may move between countries — for example, from the EU to the US — when our hosting partners process it. Where data leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission and the UK ICO. Vercel, Supabase, and Stripe all sit under those frameworks.
11. Children's Privacy
Free IPTV isn't built for children. We don't knowingly accept subscriptions or collect data from anyone under 16. If you're a parent or guardian and you think your child has signed up, message our contact page and we'll close the account and erase the data quickly.
12. Security
Everything on freeiptv.cam moves over HTTPS — your data is encrypted in transit. Subscriber records sit behind access controls and only a small team can touch them. We review our security setup regularly and patch anything that needs patching. No system is 100% bulletproof, but we treat your data like it's our own.
13. Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we'll change the effective date at the top. For anything substantive — like adding a new processor or changing how we use a category of data — we'll email active subscribers first. Quiet typo fixes don't get an announcement.
14. Contact
Privacy questions, complaints, or rights requests all go through our contact page. Ask for the Free IPTV privacy team and we'll route you to the right person. Replies usually land within 48 hours.
